By far the best yoga place in Prague. Facilities are always clean, staff is very helpful and the teachers are great! Love it here.

I wanted to love this place, but my experience was a huge disappointment. This is mainly a warning for other non-Czech speakers like me who may be looking forward to checking out the "English-friendly" lessons advertised on the website/bookings site. Don't be disappointed. Beyond false advertising, I actually had to ask before finding out it's a Czech-only class. I was already on the mat in my yoga clothes at this point. The teacher told me (in perfect English) I could either imitate movements without verbal direction for 1.5 hours, or leave. When I reminded the course is labeled English-friendly all over the website, the reply was: "Yes, it says English-friendly but sorry, you're the only one who doesn't speak Czech today." As a paying customer who'd been misled by their own 'up to date' website information, I'd expect to be accommodated with at least bi-lingual direction, which I found out she normally offers and has the ability to give. And this especially considering I had paid for the course and was 100% ready to jump into it. (I did get my money back.) On my way out, the receptionist seemed surprised and implied this 'never' happens. So I decided to give them another chance, thinking maybe it was just bad luck. This time, I wrote an email first to Jogovna to confirm what was labeled English-friendly online would be so in real life this time. Their reply? Sorry, probably not, we'll change the class to Czech only to satisfy our other customers. It's been over 3 weeks - the course is still advertised as English-friendly on their website. Hard to understand. On their Facebook page it's clear this is not an uncommon issue; another 1-star review from just a couple months ago outlines the same situation by a disappointed customer who took a foreign friend to an "English-friendly" course and instead got one in Czech. (Even worse in her case, as I was lucky enough to think of asking before the class started.) Most disappointing was that I felt like a nuisance throughout, even though it was them who misled me. (Not looking for an apology from the business anymore - just want to warn others.)
