HALADA

I got engaged in Prague and my engagement ring was too big. As we were staying in the city for some time, we decided to have it resized at Halada. It took about 2-3 days (I think they were closed one of the days so it may have taken longer than usual). It was a bit more expensive than what I would have expected to pay in the states but we wanted it done right as we were traveling for a year and I didn’t want it to be easily damaged. After returning to the states, the band on my ring broke (just about one year after having it repaired). I went to my local jeweler who I very much trust and he told me that whoever resized it had put lower quality gold into the band exactly where the band had snapped/separated. Halada was the only place that I had brought my ring and I was shocked that such a high end store would try to save money by mending a ring with lower quality gold. Think twice before going here to have any repairs done or to buy a custom piece.
