Hotel AURUS

Our stay last month at the Hotel Aurus was absolutely perfect! The accommodations were charming, comfortable, and spotless. Breakfast was delicious and the location could not have been better. Our hosts were kind and so helpful on our first ever visit to Prague. We are so thankful we found this quaint boutique hotel. I would recommend to anyone who wants to experience the history and charm.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience at this hotel, despite the beautiful old building. We were there in very hot weather, and four of us slept in a suite on the second floor. The street below was so noisy that opening the windows was not an option. The air conditioning unit, situated directly over one of the beds (but a long way from the second bed) did not adequately cool the space, was very noisy, and turned off a number of times during the night, a which point we all woke up from the heat and stuffy air. Despite the closed windows, the street noises were still very present and disruptive. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good, but we were all relieved to leave and return home for a good night's sleep.

What a great location
