House At The Golden Well

This part of Prague is made for mysterious stories. This also applies to this House at the Golden Well, before they turned it into a hotel. I would just like to point out that in the 18th century it was called U Zlatého slunce, due to the beautiful decoration of the sculptor Jan O. Mayer. At night, the inhabitants of the house were haunted by headless figures - a knight and his wife. No one knew them, no one knew how to get rid of their curses. Only the confectioner, who settled in the house, managed to make imitations of the heads of both characters from gingerbread dough. He thus freed both of them from the curse. As a reward, he found a treasure in the cellar, for which both unfortunates were murdered.
