Střelecký ostrov

When there is no public events it's a lovely, quiet place offering awesome views. It's well kept and relaxing place. A word of caution - don't walk in to the slowly flowing water which seems lovely especially on the left hand side of the island. The mud is smelly black sludge that the smell won't wash off!

A lovely place to relax on sunny days and a perfect place for a pleasant walk by the riverbank on cold winter afternoons.

I was in prague for 4 days, and 3 of them I went to this park. For me was one of the best places i could find in the city with some nature and also to relax. During the summer days, prague can be very hot, so this place has a lot of trees, great for some shadow. Also you can just chill in the grass..or even a nap after a long day of exploring the city center. It also has a great and peculiar view to the city, since you are in the middle of the river. Here you can also appreciate some music concerts (I was able to enjoy a jazz concert in the background, while i was relaxing) and they have a couple of cafes and restaurants. If you can, go there close to the sunset hours.. the colours of the sky and reflecting in the waters are really amazing! Ohhh, also they have a cashless policy in the island.. so you can only consume if you have a card.

Nice park with lovely views

This is a park and there is one restaurant here. Great place for a picnic surrounded by rivers or just relax and watch the boats go by.
