The museum is housed in a historic building on the square – its foundations date from the 17th century. There is a permanent exhibition on the development of vegetable growing, fruit growing and wine making in the Czech Republic, the development of flower farming (floral design using dried flowers, herbaria), a botanical exhibition (a collection of seeds, paraffin wax models of fruit and vegetables... Throughout the year, there are thematic exhibitions focusing on culture, the environment and the processing of horticultural products.

The museum is nice, I just missed a guide on what more to say about it. I still missed the opportunity to visit the toilet, she was nowhere or at least I did not find it anywhere.

A nice and interesting presentation about agriculture in Moravia, where there is mostly viticulture, how it got to us and how wine is actually produced.

Amazing interactive museum focused on nature around Valtice. Adults and children will have fun and learn in a fun way about the nature around - forest and field animals, including birds, and each is assigned a voice. An excellent explanation of the origin and development of viticulture, including quizzes. Definitely worth a visit and if you have a ticket from a visit to the castle in Valtice on the main circuit, admission is free.

When it wasn't very nice, we went on a trip to the winery museum. It was beneficial and we really liked it. We learned how wine is made and how much work it takes to get wine on our table 😉
