Attractive church with rich interior. It is worth to climb the church bell - from the top you will get the best possible views of old town and castle-.

One of the dominant and rare monuments of the chateau hill is the Gothic three-nave church of St. Wenceslas with a tower located on the south side of the presbytery. Despite its various modifications and completions, the building still preserves the Gothic appearance, especially in the presbytery, convex with a net and partly a star vault. On the outside, the Gothic period resembles a bosom and a backrest. The triple vaults are covered with rich manicured stucco. The Baroque decoration of the church is the work of the sculptors O. Schweigl, I. Legelacher, the painter of J. F. Adolf and others.

Together with the Mikulov chateau and the Holy Hill, it is one of the dominants of the town. The church has a turbulent past. It was burned by the Hussites. It later burned down again and was not completed until its current form until 1640. Very nice building from the outside and inside. Worth a visit, as well as the whole city.
