Cafe in Castle Zdar nad Sazavou

Nice café in a castle. The coffee is quite good, but capuccino could be better (milk in capuccino and smoother foam). The interior was designed nicely by the architects, but nowadays it is clogged with useless stuff such as flyers, spare furniture and others. The staff is nice but need a bit more professionalism. It would be great if the owner was paying more attention to the café.

Unfortunately, we can't rate it better. 15:59 about 10 people (maybe more) the staff refused to serve (coffee with you), with the words that it closes ... but in those few minutes, the young lady's veins would not be shortened ...

So someone got upset about plastic cups here, but since it is possible to sit down with a drink all over the garden at the café, it's probably just a problem with glass, not everyone would return it. It's just something for something. Inside about 5 well-maintained tables, outside sitting under parasols and deck chairs with side tables. Everyone places them as they need to. Nice.

Unfortunately, I have to ... the staff was really bored at first sight and made it clear. ☹️

The informal café is adjacent to a gift shop and ticket sales for the castle and museum. The cafe offers a few types of cakes, a wide selection of coffees, wine and beer in a can or in a bottle, as well as musts, etc. For children, ice cream or strawberry dumplings. You can also sit outside at the tables or relax on a lounger overlooking the Green Mountain.
