Vejsplachy Camp

Simple campsite, but it incorporates the local pub at its centre, so a great place to hang out. Didn't seem too noisy late and no music to bother you. Nice lake for swimming and well maintained facilities. Friendly staff.

Nice basic camping with low prices. You can choose your own place to camp, but the Wi-Fi does not reach the whole field. The camping bar offers different beers and a simple but tasty menu. Prices are very good. The toilets and showers are cleaned daily and look that way. Most of the shower curtains were broken or missing during my visit.

The camping is nice but basic. What I like is that we could pick any place on the grassfield that is next to the water. Staff is very friendly. The food and drinks are good quality. Wi-Fi is good at the bar but not on the camping field. Vrchlabi has good choice of restaurant.

It depends on what you are going to do to camp. If the main purpose is to swim in the pond, go elsewhere. Despite the very good water quality, the pond was full of some algae (July 2020), which rolled to my feet. However, the camp is absolutely sufficient for a simple camping with a girlfriend and a trip to the Giant Mountains. Pleasant staff, nice environment, three types of beer, the evening was quiet in the camp. Showers and toilets are well maintained. It is true that the hot water did not flow later in the evening in about a third of the camp's occupancy. But that was only a benefit for us, we did not come from Prague. I recommend!

Great place, nice camp by the water, good beer and ordered barbecue. Shops in Vrchlabí reachable, the road does not disturb. With about half the occupancy of the camp, but still cold showers and it is a pity that the pub closes strictly at 22h. We didn't figure out where to wash the dishes, because the troughs hadn't worked for a long time and we found it stupid in the bathroom. Overall, however, a comfortable base for a few days for a large group of people.
