On the hill above the village of Libčany is a beautiful church, which is really worth seeing. The original Romanesque building from 1225 was rebuilt in Gothic style at the end of the 15th century, in the Baroque style at the end of the 17th century. If you look at the church windows, you can see the original Romanesque windows, now gazed up. A staircase with niche chapels leads to the church. Behind the church stands a wooden bell tower. You can read about the history of the building right at the church on the notice board and you can also look around the region of the Iron Mountains from the local prospect. Beautiful place.

This is an old church in the village Libčany. It is one of the oldest churches in the Czech Republic. There is access only occasionally, but I do not know the exact time. Occasionally there are concerts such as local Ladybugs

Beautiful country church landscape landmark. The detached belfry and the original church are among the oldest in the Czech Republic.
