The church stands in the center of Nechanice. The original building was Gothic from the mid-13th century, rebuilt in the Baroque style in the years 1680-1692, after the fire in 1833 the church was rebuilt in Empire style. The impressive tower of the church is a natural landmark of the city.

It is God's House and a place of grace and blessing. Holy Mass is every Sunday at 11.00.
