Základní škola a Mateřská škola Nechanice

As I have not registered any proper reviews here yet, I am enclosing you some information. Elementary school and Kindergarten Nechanice is a catchment school and is attended by children not only from Nechanice, but also from the surrounding area. It includes: ♦ 1st degree ♦ 2nd degree ♦ school group ♦ Kindergarten ♦ school canteen with dispensing Pupils of the 1st grade (1st - 5th grade) and preparatory classes are educated in the building of Masaryk School in Školská Street. It was built in the 1930s in the style of contemporary functionalism. It has undergone a number of building modifications (insulation, new facade, construction of attic classrooms, use of heat pumps ...), the latest events include the replacement of the surface on the playground with an artificial surface and also the restoration of the floor surface in the gym. Pupils of the 2nd grade visit the Rašínov building, which is named after JUDr. Alois Rašín, the first Minister of Finance of the Czechoslovak Republic. The building is more than 120 years old. In 2009, the entire 2nd level building underwent extensive reconstruction, when the roof, windows and facade, including insulation, were gradually replaced; in 2017, the heating system was also replaced. In 2020, construction work was completed, during which the 3rd floor was built, in which 5 new classrooms were created instead of the original attic spaces: a main classroom, a science-geography classroom, a language classroom, a polytechnic (workshops) and a mathematics-physics classroom. The school also supports the School Fruit and School Milk projects. Most teachers have a professional approach during distance learning. Although from the beginning there were small technical problems, after a year everything settled down and today the teaching is perfect from my point of view (we all see it differently). I would like to thank all the teachers for still not going crazy and still have strong nerves, it's very admirable.
