The originally Gothic Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, commemorated in 1384, is another ancient building of the Kravař. It survived the fire in 1646, was re-established in 1650. Its present appearance bears traces of Baroque adaptations from 1744-1749, which were however simplified during the repairs after the second largest fire Kravař in 1860. The single-nave Baroque space has rounded corners and pilasters. In the western part, the temple is decorated with a rococo mansion with woodcarvings resting on two columns. Her organ machine comes from J. J. Wohl's master in 1748. Oratories are carried by segmental arches. The facility is partly early Baroque, partly from the second half of the 18th century. The original altarpiece of the Virgin Mary is in the presbytery; the main altar now houses the image of the Virgin Mary of Passau with statues of Sts. John the Baptist, St. Joseph and early Baroque statues of prophets by Dresden court painter Benedict Kern. The pulpit with evangelist reliefs is rococo. Also interesting is the outdoor graveyard chapel of the Virgin Mary with a stone pulpit from 1750, which can be found in the lower part of the cemetery behind the church. To inform visitors, accompanying prints about chasubles and robes and stained glass can be purchased. at the local Infocentre. Local cemetery Take a stroll through the beautiful and peaceful cemetery, which is well maintained. At the entrance, note the eight newly restored graves of the Germans. The activity was also appreciated by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, which morally supported the project as a contribution to Czech-German understanding. The German Embassy will help the village track down the descendants of its indigenous peoples.
