The Provodín Forest Cemetery is one of the younger ones. Its construction began only in 1929, the cemetery chapel is one year younger. Both are found by the road leading from Provodín to Srní and Zákupy, about 1.5 km northwest of the Jestřebí train station. Around 700 inhabitants live in Provodín, the first written mention of the village dates back to 1376. The Provodní municipal office decided to build a chapel in the newly established forest cemetery in 1927. At that time it was referred to as a church and it must be said that its size . It was put into use three years later. It is a simple undirected building with a rectangular nave, a polygonal presbytery and a prismatic tower in the front. The author of the project was France Knobloch, the assembly was carried out by the architect and architect Erwin Tschirnich.
