Sleeping virgin

Beautiful landscape, a little more challenging walk, certainly not with a pram or bikes. The wheels can be locked under the exit. I recommend it for more able individuals 🙂

005 Provodín stones These magical irregular rock peaks surprised me early in the morning on the way from Srní to Provodín, and in the light of the first rays of the sun, the whole scenery looked like a fantasy fairy tale. It was a very impressive start to a new day. Provodínské kameny is the collective name for a group of seven neovolcanic formations. The individual peaks rise significantly above the surrounding terrain. The most famous of them - Lysá skála (with an altitude of 419 meters), also known as the Sleeping Virgin - is a protected natural monument. It is a Tertiary volcanic body that protrudes in regular pentagonal and hexagonal columns, the higher parts of which were gradually carried away by erosion.
