The village is situated on the southern edge of the undulating plateau, from which the terrain slopes both to the northeast and to the southwest. It creates a valley with an inconspicuous stream that continues into the river Dyje in the south. The core of the village lies on a slope facing south. From the 16th century on the opposite slope there was a settlement called Neudorf - Nová Ves, which was merged in 1965 with the municipality of Lukov. Land borders have almost rectangular shape with longer sides to the east and west. In the east, our neighbor is the village of Podmolí, in the north Bezkov, in the northwest Horní Břečkov, in the west Čížov and the south of our is formed by the river Dyje.
