The tower and parts of the walls remain from the castle

Originally a castle from which only the tower remained, which was subsequently rebuilt into a church.

The Church of St. Joseph in Žulová is a Roman Catholic parish church. The site of the Gothic castle, Ftýdberk, was built, and the preserved bergfrit tower was used as a tower with a small bell tower and a ship of the church, which is untraditionally oriented to the north, was added to it. The tower of the church has preserved a remarkable 1920 clock machine and two of the original three bells. On the bark are the recently restored organ. It is a very interesting church and the surrounding cemetery. It's worth a look.

So I didn't find the scaffolding here anymore, the church is already in full beauty. It is a remnant of a castle tower on which they added a church tower and a nave. I haven't seen many such churches, in fact this was the first one. You could look inside the church through the lattice, but in the tower there are supposedly plastic paintings by a local painter, supposedly as 3D, unfortunately they are not accessible ...
