In themselves, these are peaceful people and welcome everyone of all nations and cultures. I've had two missionaries home classes twice. The first time about five years ago I had three home course lessons and found that the missionaries were internally exchanged. Without informing me beforehand, my cell phone number was simply passed on, or the phone provided for the missionary service. In the end, the new missionaries were quite pushy about SMS'n and WhatsApp messages. Despite repeated reprimands on my part, the two had unfortunately only stopped when I threatened legal action. Almost a year ago now I had thought again to bring the Mormon faith closer and therefore had to have missionaries sent again. Back in my four walls. Everything went great. Then about two days later, however, I wanted to make a new appointment. As a prospect, I actually have to listen to what I should dispose of in my apartment, since otherwise these two missionaries would not be able to study with me because of "unbiblical" objects. In all honesty, that's not how you deal with prospective customers or potential new members. This is not only unprofessional and arrogant, but in my opinion an anti-social attitude! After all, this is my household and the two were invited to my place. PS. How would you think if I came to your church and said what you should change or throw away? Conclusion: I am open to everything, but if you are treated like this in the first few hours as an interested party, you need not be surprised if you say about the Mormons that they are a sect. I'm not that one, but at least I don't want to know anything more about the Mormons.
