Nice hotel not far away for the center of Lübeck. The room was OK, even though the bathroom seems quite outdated. The air conditioning didn’t really manage to cool down the room, but it was also very hot (30 degrees) outside. Nice and helpful staff, and for the price I would defiantly come back. The parking was quite cheap (compared to other cities).

One of the most important things in a hotel is a decent bed to get a good night's sleep. It is a long time since I found such a bad bed and pillow as in this Holiday Inn, despite the fact that I travel a lot. Furthermore, although a minor but annoying detail, is the fact that they only have one coffee machine in the breakfast room, despite having 60+ people eating at the same time. It makes the waiting line long and your eggs and bacon cold before you finally get your coffee. I Will not come back to the hotel.

Perfect customer service. Good facilities, nice and clean. Swimming pool and sauna is a plus. Breakfast was acceptable but nothing special.

Our first room was horrible. The bathroom looked like my grandmothers, with old tile, just a cheap handheld shower nozzle, and plastic curtain. It was also dirty: when we found the third spider we asked for another room. The other room was stylish and nice though still problematic, with a cracked toilet, no towel hooks and a broken toilet brush holder just laying in the corner. We had to ask for a second towel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. However, the common areas aren’t great, the restaurant isn’t attractive, the location isn’t great — if Lübeck is a football field, it’s past one end — and there are a lot of children. If you don’t have kids, then, you’ll want to stay somewhere else. Stylish hotel chains have far nicer branches in better locations for a similar price.

As usual the stay was good but with the support from the front desk staff Julia and Sherfin made the stay a excellent! They are the example how customer care is done!
