Did my MTA exam there and everything went as one would wish. I can only recommend

Everything with computer via Skype and such. Just right for little nerds and with the lecturers you can also work;)

Overall it was OK. I was the quality officer, the quality manager, the process manager (all TÜV Süd in the Fillale in Bochum). The classrooms were neat and tidy. The laptop I was given was a disaster from HP. Every cell phone is faster and more stable. I can advise everyone to sign up for further training there, who needs time to crash into Harz 4. The lessons are divided into mornings (8-12) in the office in the case and afternoons (13-17) from home, where there is only compulsory attendance, which is activated by a launcher on the laptop. Of course he also runs when you are not in the room :) There are also differences in presence here, I still had to be logged in via the launcher for 2.5 hours. I never had any problems with the office, there you are very relaxed with attendance times, you have the whole day off for interviews. The lecturers were very nice except for one annoying lecturer (similarities in the name of an Asterix actor) in the quality manager. I passed all the courses at TÜV Süd without having learned a lot. If you really need further training in order to introduce changes in your job, you should think about realizing yourself at a college or university.

I retrained to become a media designer at Comcave College in Essen. Today I like to say that I didn't pass because of Comcave but despite it. After two and a half years of retraining we had about two weeks of face-to-face teaching and the rest was dealt with via (poor) telelearning. Nevertheless, I was forced to use fuel unnecessarily every day, as Comcave decides completely arbitrarily who can participate in telelearning from home and who has to sit at the PC on site. This led to funny incidents such as that I had to rent a parking space for an inexpensive 50 euros a month (the free parking spaces are full as soon as you leave five minutes late) and other retraining students in the same course from a swimming pool on "vacation" waved via laptop because they didn't have to attend on site. The administration was reasonably competent, but sometimes you had the feeling that one hand didn't know what the other was doing. I only give two stars because most of the lecturers were very friendly and capable; it would have been nice to see them in person and not in a postage-stamp-sized field in a net meeting.

I can describe my experience in COMCAVE.COLLEGE Essen as good. The atmosphere and the contact with the employees and with the site manager is very personal. The technical equipment I found for telelearning (computer, 2 large monitors) is very good. There are five more places in the room where I work. This takes some getting used to, like telelearning in general, but soon you will only concentrate on your lessons. I found the full-time lecturers to be very competent in their subjects. The quality of the lessons depends on the number of courses to be given by the lecturer at the same time. At the moment, my course does not have to share our lecturers with anyone else. However, this is not always the case. The number of participants in a course is also important for personal learning success. I worked here in rather small groups (5 to 8 participants). For work at home I was given a laptop, which I can keep afterwards because of the length of my further education. This is adequately equipped in terms of the technical specifications, but of the general quality (keyboard, mouse pad, chassis) but more of the cheaper version. Resúmé: Five stars for the support provided by the staff and the on-site equipment - a star deduction for sharing some of the lecturer with other courses and the rather simpler laptop. Information about me at the CC in Essen: advanced training - network technology and database administration; Modules LPIC1, OCA, MCSA; 50% telelearning
