Business economist IHK at Sommerhoff - very good preparation for the exams! I have completed both the preparatory course for HR specialist and business administration at Sommerhoff and can definitely and unreservedly recommend both advanced training courses. The course content is based on the respective framework plan, and due to the compactness of the further training (one year preparation time each), they are often based on the focus areas to be expected in the IHK exams. Organization: The ladies and gentlemen from Sommerhoff are all very friendly and usually take care of issues very quickly. If something should take a little longer: Just ask in a friendly manner, then the process will be completed promptly at the latest. Course content: The course content is based - as written in the introduction - on the framework plan of the IHK. This framework plan is given out and explained at the beginning. From my point of view, this is almost the most important document in the whole course, as you can make life and learning much easier with it and find out the (knowledge) depth at which the IHK will probably query the subject matter (application taxonomy). The individual days of lessons - depending on the subject - often have the character of a lecture and the processing of exercises is scarce. Somewhere, however, the time savings from Sommerhoff compared to the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, which will eventually be running the course in over two years. Everyone here has to be honest with themselves and know in advance what they want. Better to spend a year under stress and have a lot of power or 2, x years in the evenings and occasionally on Saturdays at the IHK. Temporal aspect: Lessons take place in hotels (e.g. Frankfurt directly at the trade fair). takes place on Sundays and lasts 9 lessons. During the semester, you should also work on the subject matter during the week or not wait too long. The time required increases significantly before the exams and the year is over quickly. So if you want to do a business economist on the side, you will be brought back down to earth relatively quickly here. Training material: Anyone who complains here is really beyond help. On the one hand, there are study publications on every topic on the Sommerhoff platform (between 150-250 pages, depending on the topic), which function as a reference work and provide an answer to almost every question. In addition, the lecturers have their own overviews, scripts, etc. Lecturers: Good lecturers in classroom teaching are the rule rather than the exception. If necessary, if you cannot do the lessons with a lecturer at all, you can just look at the recorded seminar of another lecturer on the Sommerhoff platform. The quality of these recorded "webinars" is excellent and only the top Sommerhoff luminaries are recorded there. The lecturers usually leave their private contact details and are available for later questions. With most lecturers, you really notice that they enjoy the job, that they want to teach people something and that they don't necessarily do it for money, especially since they often work in their regular jobs as managers and probably don't need it from a purely financial point of view to work on weekends. Price-performance: Definitely a good price / performance ratio, especially in terms of the funding instruments (advancement subsidy, IHK premium, gifted education, etc.). Since Mr. Sommerhoff is a tax advisor, he always gives helpful updates from tax jurisdiction and funding instruments. My further education path with Sommerhoff comes to an end with my degree in business administration and all in all I am very satisfied.

100% recommendation! Hello my dears, I have had enough time to take advantage of and "test" all the options offered by the further training: 1. Classroom teaching 2. Distance learning 3. MyEDUCAST 4. Documents 5. Service I mainly worked with myEDUCAST, accompanied by study books, handouts + one week of classroom teaching. I would like to highlight 4 things in particular; On the one hand the structure and structure of myEDUCAST, smooth usability on my Apple devices, the knowledge transfer from Mr. Sommerhoff and service. 1. MyEDUCAST; The structure is clearly themed and differentiated so that - after a short training period - you can quickly get an overview and find your way around the catalog without additional effort. I mainly worked with the topic of “preparing the annual financial statements according to national law”. 2. During the face-to-face class, I was able to determine that the video content matches that of the face-to-face class. I think that's pretty good! Everything has been thought out from the start. This consistency gives people security and confidence. The knowledge from online lessons has the same value as a face-to-face lesson with Mr. Sommerhoff and also ensures traceability for the knowledge trasfer. 3. Documents are clearly structured and are intuitive. There are study books and there are handouts. The study books convey the knowledge in general, including examples and other considerations of a general nature. The handouts are, however, "practice-related". These are compressed and task-related. You can take part with this content, regardless of whether it is face-to-face or distance learning. 4. The team is really customer-oriented, open and flexible. Together we overcame the setbacks I had at the beginning. Feedback is given quickly and is solution-oriented. I could write a lot more, but that would go beyond the given framework. So I am very satisfied and can recommend with a clear conscience!

Great preparation for the instructor! I attended the preparation for the training certificate full-time at SOMMERHOFF and I am very happy that I decided to do it - I passed the test with flying colors! The content was conveyed within 5 days, the time is sufficient. Our trainer was very personable and very experienced in his field. Not only was the content explained in a very practical manner, he even had IHK experience and was able to give us valuable tips for the exam. For the oral exam, we had a separate day on which we could take the exam - this was very helpful to be able to understand the situation in the exam. We were there for the lessons in the SOMMERHOFF premises, which are very bright and have a very good learning atmosphere. The team was at our side with all questions, whether in person, by phone or by email - always friendly and an open ear for us participants!
