Car rental in Essen STARCAR

They did not clean nor disinfect the car nor wear they wearing masks properly in the middle of a pandemic, the car was dirty inside and out on pickup. I transferred a car from Essen to Munich went out of my way to make it in time even though there was heavy traffic. They charged me additional 70km for 20 euros... and are heavily egocentric and unfriendly. Do not rent at this location! Health hazard and a rip off!

For car rental you need passport. No ID card.

In the past cheap - now cheap! Car not handed over with a full tank, known technical defect was not mentioned. The agreement with the refueler for the return was not kept and a flat-rate fuel fee was charged. The employee did not call back. As good as the service was and the prices were good, alternative landlords are not to be despised either.
