I had called a Golf to change the timing chain. Mr. Nölkel advised me very well and was the only independent workshop to point out that the camshaft control may also need to be replaced. The actual repair costs have only deviated by 5% from the first price and the repair was finished 2 days earlier. A manufacturer's workshop had also pointed out the camshaft, but the price there would have been twice as high and therefore not appropriate for an older car. I can warmly recommend Mr. Nölkel and that was the first workshop that showed me the removed parts.
