4/5 but would gladly give 5/5 if the service matched that given by Stefan when he’s not there. Great wine selection and a beautiful store but from my experience, Stefan is the only employee that takes his time to ensure that you get the best quality of wine for your money. With that being said, its still my favorite wine shop in Bayreuth but to guarantee that you receive the best quality service I would recommend you ask for Stefan.

I walked into the store two minutes before closing time (6:00 p.m.). Unfortunately for a short time during my stay I had the feeling of being an unwanted burden, the last obstacle before the end of the day. From a human perspective, I can understand that, but as a customer I don't feel comfortable with it. As a working person, these opening times during the week are a certain challenge anyway. I like to go into retail and enjoy personal advice and browsing. It's not much fun in this atmosphere and I will soon try out online wine delivery.

I wanted a wine that you can drink to a good conversation and was given excellent advice. They knew exactly that the wine should not be too heavy and so, on the recommendation, I bought a great Tuscany wine that exactly met my requirements. I will go here again.
