You can park your car there for a whole day for only 3.70€ (last tried on 08/28/2020)which is really cheap And you can access the city through the train station I would suggest this than any other place for people who love roaming freely without worrying where to park their car Only disadvantage is the accessibility at night, because of darkness and the location.

Cheap parking on a top location in Dortmund. 3,50 a day.

A very good large parking lot perfectly located to get to the city center. So big that there is always enough parking space, even for long-term parkers. The exit goes directly to the train station. Very cheap in terms of price. Quickly accessible and ideal location.

I parked there for the first time yesterday, but knew the parking lot beforehand. A few months ago your "renovated", i.e. the place was tarred. But since there is construction everywhere around it, there is still enough dirt and mud everywhere. A day ticket costs € 3.70 - an unbeatable price in the city center! But normally I still prefer to park outside and take the train for a few stops (yesterday it was no different due to the strike). What I think is a shame is that the parking lot is not signposted anywhere. No entry / exit signs, nowhere. In addition, the entire parking lot is unlit !! It rained yesterday, there was mud everywhere and I had to use my mobile phone flashlight and triple steps to make my way to my car. When driving out, I ended up in the construction site despite the GPS. The access to the main station is very narrow and smells terrible of urine. Hope this will be improved; at least a few lamps and signs should be possible.

Parking lot entrance badly signposted, but always something free, as it is very large.
