We came to fairplay saloon to watch football this week. The bar was busy, so no seats left but there was plenty of space to stand and watch the game. When I went to the bar to order drinks the bar tender snapped at me "where you going to sit??" I said "we'll just stand over there" but he wouldn't serve me. We then left feeling very unwelcome. Maybe a doorman on busy nights to tell people the bar is at capacity would be a good idea. If you are going to this bar to watch the game, I recommend arriving early to get a seat as apparently standing is not permitted 😂😂 We ended up missing the start of the game because of this! On the positive side, it did mean we found another bar where we had a great night! We squeezed in shoulder to shoulder as you expect to do whenever a big game is on and the friendly staff served us beer! 😀
