We spent great week in our "Bulli" from roadsurfer travelling from Germany to Luxembourg, France and Switzerland. Really enjoyed the journey and new experience in this all-round mobile home. Roadsurfer service was excellent and absolutely uncomplicated - booking, check-in/check-out quick and smooth. We will be planning a longer trip next year and will go for another roadsurver experience again!! Thanks :))

My wife and I flew to Germany from Australia and hired a VW California from RoadSurfer in Frankfurt. The RoadSurfer staff were very friendly and helpful. After a short demonstration and completing the necessary paperwork we were on our way. The van was basically brand new and was great to drive on the motorways and backroads. We loved our month camping in the van and wish we could have brought it home with us to Australia. Everywhere we camped along the way (France, Spain, Italy, Austria and Germany) other campers asked questions about the California. We couldn’t recommend RoadSurfer more highly.

Our 2 experiences (both times California Beach) were very good last year (5 stars) this year rather mixed (3 stars). In our opinion, the following points could be improved this time: - Extension cables and gas cartridges were missing (but we noticed it ourselves during the handover) - The vehicle was not very clean (window was dirty inside and out), the vehicle headlining also had a number of dark marks, around the bed in the pop-up roof it was also sandy from its predecessors ... appetizing is different ... - After cleaning, we discovered a rockfall in the not clean pane, which luckily turned out to have been captured when it was returned ... but it would be great if we had already been told that at the handover ... Would I book again? probably yes, but I would have the vehicle "touched up" upon delivery ...
