Yes, well... In our fast-paced, multi-optional and holiday-free times, a library should provide the thirsty student with a place of retreat to relax in an ivory tower-esque beanbag of science. The Oettingen Bib only partially meets this requirement. The windows are large and cleaned appropriately - the quick reaction of those responsible in the course of pollen flights is exemplary. Here, however, the reviewer suspects a Luhmannian functional differentiation; Dieter Reiter plus his followers are probably responsible for this. Windows [are indispensable (especially in winter!)] Are part of the architect's basics, so the bib is not responsible for that and accordingly none of this is included in the evaluation. A small note about the windows: it is a shame that all windows face north-west, which means that there is hardly any direct sunlight for the vitamin D level required in an academic setting. This could be remedied with a 180 ° turn of the entire building in the coming summer holidays. That would be great. The botanical equipment is reminiscent of a mixture of Perlacher Forest and the mangrove forests of Madagascar. This trick allows the well-read student to carry out a scientific photosynthesis in the figurative sense - more of it, if you like! In addition, the synergy of the internationally chosen planting enables a detachment of the locally subjectively saturated horizon and brings the students a little closer to the scientific claim of objectivity. If it doesn't have the background of another SPORTING exercise, I don't understand why the carrying baskets are only placed after the entrance of the bib ?! The master's student with aspirations has to perform an artistic masterpiece a la tome (the latest Hofstede / Reckwitz 'collected works) - juggling. That brings me straight to the next point, the computer scientists. As is well known, they juggle their zeros and ones in the virtual, almost non-existent space, but actually and materially take away a place here. Here, a differentiated system of allocation of places in the sense of the electoral principle west of the Atlantic would be appropriate, in which selection is not based on quantity but on quality of the students. Example: media informatics 3 places, computational linguistics 10, ethnology 3, informatics 0 (see Spahn's suggestions on the subject of virtual student council), IKK 30. Anyone who has added up should have noticed: According to Adam Riese, our thought experiment still leaves about 20 places - here you could, for example, place beanbags and table football (see Google Office, works great!) greeting Jörn
