Not very friendly but good wine and at the end of the day, it's good advice. Last time I went, it's been almost half a year though. Last summer or something. Maybe it's changed for the better!
A cosy wine&delicacies store with a couple of tables, good music, great atmosphere, delicious starters 💕
Great advice was new in the world of wine.
But my advisor didn't take advantage of that and took his time. In my opinion, really a top shop.
I can recommend him with a clear conscience and will be happy to come back
Since we have been welcomed nicely the last few times, my 2 year old son wanted a milk foam again and I wanted to take a cappuccino with me. A completely stressed employee (branch manager) came and asked me if I would like to take a cappuccino with me. I said yes.
She had just made a cappuccino in a cup for a guest who appeared to have ordered and left. First she wanted to pour this into a mug for me. Actually, every guest should get a fresh one prepared here, right? Then I asked the waitress for a milk foam for my 2 year old son. The waitress replied rudely that they would not do anything for children. I was totally baffled because I received this one the last few times without any explanation. So I refused the cappuccino for myself too. The waitress affirmed my comment that they didn't need to make cappuccino and milk foam for us. I'm wondering what was so bad for the apparently frustrated waitress to make a little boy happy and simply froth him milk and prepare a fresh cappuccino (I also politely mentioned that she can account for the milk foam as a cappuccino). I have never personally experienced anything so child-unfriendly.
If you do not want to receive customers who are not interested in wines but rather in delicacies and coffee, you should not write the offer on the board. Then the unwanted customers do not come in.
The same applies if children are undesirable.
Unfortunately, I am not a wine drinker, but a coffee drinker and let the Italian flair seduce me into assuming that you are getting a flat white (strong, mostly double espresso + very fine milk foam) here. During the Corona period, the Garibaldi in Neuhausen is almost the only shop with a coffee culture that still serves coffee after 5 p.m. But the coffee shop in this shop made me feel that she was disturbed and went to the coffee machine in an annoyed way without any sign of service. She called me over to the counter to pay, although I was waiting at the cash desk across the street. Then she made it clear to me that she would now prepare an espresso with milk foam. That would have been an espresso macchiato. But I set great store by a strong flat white and found that they probably don't offer flat white. She admitted that annoyed and justified it dipped in arrogance with the fact that Garibaldi was after all a wine shop and not a coffee and was very happy that I left the shop again. More honesty and friendliness with an order that you don't understand works better, just as a tip. Because stores actually interpret flat white differently, you can also talk to customers here. Instead of a flat white, which does not exist, a short, friendly exchange of words can also be used. I would certainly have accepted an alternative. I won't be looking at the service here any more. If the huge coffee machine is only owed to initiate contact for wine customers, then as a customer I do not really suit Garibaldi. The three stars represent the average value until this encounter, because until now you have been welcome here as a coffee drinker.
