They don't want to postpone or give our reservation money back due to the coronavirus. Absolutely cheap excuses since for sure they are barely having guests at the moment. They said, they can't "bend the rules" as we would be asking them something ilegal.
After the "The Spit" Staff answer: As you can see bellow how liars and arrogant they are, I am sure they are having 85%/90% occupation since they had to retain 200€ from my booking for them.
And "NO" they aren't sorry!
The hotel is nicely located absolutely recommended. All the logistic processes from entering, upfront communication and check-in/-out are smooth and easy. The room was spacious, quiet and clean. The in-room kitchen was equipped with all necessary tools including a coffee machine with capsules. Parking wasn't a challenge either, if you accept some minutes walk from the neighbourhood or pay 15EUR per night for the garage. The only downside was the bed, which was really noisy every time you moved during the night and can be disturbing.
We are just so disappointed, we lost our entire money for the reservation, the hotel did not wanted to postpone nor cancel our reservation one week before coming there due to the Corona virus restrictions in Munich!! Would not recommend to anyone!!!
Excellent rooms and facilities. Spotless clean. Highly recommend this place if you are in Munich.
We were here to see Metallica at the Munich Olympic Park and stayed here for the weekend. The location was perfect for us both the night of the concert and the next night when we went to the English garden and caught a bus that dropped us off across the street. Parking was safe and secure and the one woman that was there when we checked in was super helpful even though the entire check-in process was automated. The room was clean and perfect for our short stay.
