I ordered using the kiosk, and then waited and waited, but the buzzer puck never buzzed, so I finally went in. My food had been sitting for a long time, chicken now cold. I had pressed "Take-Away", but they put it in a bowl. They then dumped it into a container and said I had screwed up. I asked about the buzzer and said they are broken.
Pretty rude here. I recommend other Dean & David locations.
I've been there several times. At the beginning, I quite liked the food there. However, they don't seem to control the food quality well. At least 2 or 3 times, the chicken pieces in my salad got burned from dark brown to black. Additionally, the salad is not always fresh. If they advertise their food is fresh and healthy, they should control the quality better. I pay the same amount everytime, I expect the similar quality.
Good salad and soup options, maybe a bit pricy
I've always been a good fan of Dean & David as they offer up some really good dishes that you struggle to find anywhere else. The Caeser Chicken is my preferred dish but, I have been known to give others a try! You should go to. They're practically in every German Central Station.
Do you like salads? If yes then this place is made for you. There are some classic salads to choose as well a more creative one. You can eat in the restaurant or take the food with you. You can pay with a cash or with a card. The place can be a bit crowded during the lunch break, but they are really fast so you will not have to wait.
