Have been there for concerts (eg Slipknot, Blue Earth with live Orchestra...) and love that you can always get drinks/food very fast. There are plenty of restrooms and a good system for storing your jackets and retrieving them fast - no need to rush there after the concert.
It was a great venue to watch my favourite group The Kelly Family. Very organised. The sound was great. Even from a bit far back the view to the stage was clear and not obstructed.
The small(er) events place in the Olympic center in Munich. Solid. Easy to reach and navigate. Couple of big events every week. Go by underground if you can. But there's also usually enough parking places available.
All bars and food outlets are cash only. No ATM on site, a 10/15 minute walk back to train station to get to an ATM IF they'll let you out of the building.
2€ charge to get a glass which is refundable, 5€ a pint.
My A4 sized bag was deemed too big and cost 10€ to leave in a truck outside. 2€ to leave a coat in the cloakroom.
Location is great, quick entrance, good security, you can get food and drinks very quickly
