Ferienbauernhof Herrmann

We were with Rosi and Erwin on our first holiday farm and it couldn't have been nicer there, which was not only due to the beautiful and perfectly furnished holiday apartment, but also to the warm and child-friendly treatment of Rosi and Erwin. As a welcome there were homemade cakes, coffee and cocoa for the little ones. After an informative tour of the yard, the children got stuck with the versatile vehicle fleet (Kettcars, tractors, etc.). A real paradise for our children! When working in the stable, the children, but also the adults, are right in the thick of it instead of just being there. Milking cows, feeding goats, loading and distributing straw and hay, looking for chicken eggs, walking the rooster Fridolin and feeding rabbits. There was something for everyone and Erwin and Rosi explained everything very well and always treated everyone (animals and guests) warmly and courteously. Joint activities such as barbecuing at the campfire, excursion with the "excursion tractor" to the witch and magic forest, to the foxhole or to the legendary "Hotzihaus" were a good opportunity to get to know Rosi, Erwin and the other guests better and they were all great fun. We felt that we were in good hands, every question and request was answered in a friendly and warm manner and our children (and of course we too) had a wonderful time with the Herrmann family on the holiday farm. A clear recommendation from our side! It was certainly not our last visit to a holiday farm, and we would love to visit Rosi and Erwin again. We wish Rosi and Erwin all the best, thank you very much for the great experiences and hope to see you again. :-)

I've been to a lot of farms but never before ... The apartments are great and there is a playground and more than enough vehicles for children. But why you should go there is the farmer and his wife. Two very nice people, for whom it is important to let their guests take part in farm life. Everyone can actively participate in the stable time and you also learn a lot on the side. Great activities such as a barbecue evening or a short excursion on the tractor complete the picture. Important at the moment: you also pay attention to the Corona measures.

We were on the farm from August 15th to August 22nd, 2020 and had the best time! It was such a beautiful experience that will remain unforgettable! The farmer's wife was so warm and the farmer Erwin Herrmann welcomed us with delicious home-baked cakes and coffee and cocoa, they had such a sensitive feel for children, he knew exactly how to handle them and it was an experience for us adults too Relaxation, on you & you with the cow, and the farmer gave my boys the most exciting adventures, about robber Hotzenplotz and the witch in the magic forest, campfires, tractor rides, milking cows, mucking out, feeding rabbits, feeding pigs, fetching eggs, feeding goats , a beautiful playground, a huge fleet of vehicles for children, he had great tips for excursions, the Brombachsee, the Altmühlsee, Rothenburg, Dinkelsbühl, none of that was far. The apartment was perfect with everything you need! It was super practical with a nice bathroom! My boys slept in the bunk bed, but there were also all the possibilities to accommodate smaller children. There was washer dryer rubber boots board games ... The farmer's wife Rosi brought us fresh bread every morning what we wanted and we got delicious jam liver sausage butter from her. You could also get drinks there, everything regional :)! There was fresh milk from the farmer every day and the children were allowed to look for eggs from the hens. It was an absolute dream and you could tell that the children come first! You have an incredibly big heart and instinct for children and a lot of understanding and also for the animals! The kids could also play freely without traffic. The playground and the stable could all be seen from the apartments, you opened the terrace door and had everything in view (even with the door closed it was a large floor-to-ceiling window) and the kids could romp around. I can only recommend the farm it was so good for all of us! I just hope we can get a seat again if necessary;) I could tell you so much it was really exciting and relaxing at the same time! The perfect size for children, everything made with love and manageable. We will be back, we hit the bull's eye with the choice!

We were immediately greeted in a very familiar way with delicious cakes, coffee and cocoa for the children. Apartment very clean, super nice, bright and large. Everything you need is available in the kitchen. Everything is really there for small children too. (Children's dishes, cot, children's bed linen, night light, baby monitor, high chair) Farmer Erwin and Rosi provided a different little highlight every day. All children and adults were allowed to help out in the stable, feed, muck out, fetch eggs, milk and much more. For our 1.5 year old son, driving a tractor every day was the best. We will definitely go on vacation there more often. The landscape around it is also very beautiful.

Very warm hosts Rosi and Erwin. Small farm with many animals that are cared for with love. Children are welcome and can help everywhere! A great holiday farm, which we absolutely recommend!
