Received a dirty car (cigarette waste everywhere) which broke down after 2 hours. We were only able to get help after 8 hours of waiting in the middle of nowhere - nobody felt responsible and we had to call about 20 times to actually organize a new transporter which was a lot smaller than the one we booked and therefore we had a lot of trouble getting our stuff storaged in the tiny transporter (which we had to pick up ourself with a taxi and which was 1 hour away from where we were located). Very disappointed with the whole experience, won’t book again.
I chose a Ford car online for my moving out, but when I went there I had to take another one! they gave me a Mercedes though, but I had to pay extra. So call them to make sure that they have what you want... Hope this helps
After renting a compact class car (CDMR) when I showed up I was told I would get a Renault Clio with a 1.2 liter engine. When I mentioned that I was expecting a Golf/Focus or similar they told me the Renault Clio was "the right car" and anything else would cost me extra.
This was possibly the most disappointing car rental I've had in Germany in the last 5 years.
While the car was relatively clean and didn't broke down, I've had much better experiences with any concurrent (Hertz, Enterprise, Europcar, ...)
Awful, they charge you extra for any reason whatever, they even didn't accept my insurance (that was full cover and official) to charge several hundred euros.
And for sending one mail charged me 48 Euro.
Very unfriendly employee .
Short to no wait lines. Quick and good service. German speaking preferred
