Overall a good experience. Did not like the fact that they add a full tank as an option, even if that is not explicitly requested. Mr. Dushko at the desk was very nice and explain everything.

Ridiculous rules! Just don't rent here and save yourself the trouble. I booked a car and paid for everything online. I presented my German ID, my driver's license, and my credit card. I'm only driving it in Germany. But that's not enough for Avis! They demanded for my passport. I told them I live here and I have a German ID and I don't carry my passport around. Nope. They won't let me have my car. I went next door to Enterprise, presented exactly the same IDs and I got a car right away with no trouble. Why does Avis have to make my life so hard? Now I have to fight for getting my money back....who knows how long it will take or whether I will even get it. :(

We had a Bad experience with them We rented a car from a specific catagory and they didnt have the car or another suitable car from the same catagory that coressponds to the price we paied. They gave us a car with a lower catagory because they didnt have somthing else to give. When we talked to the worker, she told us either to take this offer or cancle everything. That was rude.
