Da capo prints a monthly newsletter on top of being knowledgable and helpful - they are clearly serious audiophiles–this shop's listening space has some of the finest equipment money can buy. I found some of my favorite American independent records here (from JD McPherson to Bon Iver)

So now I have to break a lance for H. Kammerer. So far I have only had good experiences in my tel. Contacts, I am online purchaser. But all conversations were always close to the customer, informative and friendly. A complaint about damaged inner shells was accepted without hesitation and he promised to do what is possible for him. And when I wasn't expecting it any more, the parcel arrived at my place. In any case, I don't know of any comparable range when it comes to exclusive vinyl pressings. And we all have a bad day.

I have never felt so unwelcome in a shop. The fact that there is a dead silence in a music shop and no music is playing could be a peculiarity. It is strange that the owner registers you when you enter, but then turns away so that you don't have to say "hello". However, it is simply not possible that you are then valued with hardly more than two words when asked, in a tone and mood that calls "leave me alone". If you don't want to serve customers, you shouldn't run a shop.
