Eye Clinic at Klinikum Nürnberg Nord

Was there with my 3 year old daughter who got a load of sand in her eyes. I got most of it out, but there was still something deep in the eye sacks. The lady at the registration desk was very nice. Then wait over 2 hours (only one patient was in front of me)! In the meantime, the registration lights have even been turned off (I thought the clinic works around the clock?). The doctor was nowhere to be seen. Since I had enough time and my daughter slowly calmed down, I was able to make further attempts to get the sand out further, which I succeeded in 99% of the time (I didn't want to leave the sand in my eyes for so long!) . After FINALLY the doctor came and the patient finished before us, he actually wanted to take the patient AFTER us first! Fortunately, the patient was so nice and pointed out that it was our turn before her. After asking what the problem was, he told me to do my daughter's left eye and please read the numbers on the wall. I thought it was a joke and told him if he realized she was only 3 years old. She was asked to look through a device, but since she was too small, she should crouch on my lap. At first she didn't want to, but the doctor made no effort to talk to her in a child-friendly manner. After we somehow did it, she should get drops. He told her seriously that the drops would burn. But "only" 5 seconds. Of course my daughter didn't want to take part and we had to force her. Looked into the device again after the drops. In between the doctor kept checking his watch (he probably wanted to go home as soon as possible). After the examination, get antibiotics and drops of moisture. No look in the bags under the eyes to see whether there is anything left in it, no praise for my daughter for being so brave. Abdolut children UNFRIENDLY! Only the doctor's assistant was very nice when we went out and let my daughter choose something from a toy box. Overall, NEVER AGAIN!

Called several days at different times, either on hold, no one in charge, wrongly connected, supposedly wrong number ..... finish everything. Time wasted just canceling an appointment. Check your telephone system.

Too long wait

After I was sewn in Erlangen the wrong lens in the left eye, I tried now "my luck" in Nuremberg. Unfortunately, I only got there until the preliminary examination: The doctor had me look into an apparatus (with both eyes) and decided at the end "I see well enough". Another appointment is no longer possible, I should possibly appear in the morning between 8 and 9 for a general consultation. Maybe then I would succeed in convincing the doctor that I am half-blind and still have to go to work regularly despite having severe disability.

I had to be hospitalized. On the first day I could hardly see anything with my left eye and after 10 days everything was fine again. The doctors are very competent and work like a team! Top! Thank you very much!
