The source is less spectacular. Is right at a station on the forest nature trail. This is followed by a biotope and small ponds where you can walk. Beautiful landscape.

The Scherbsgraben is a small stream that has its source at this point. The spring has a station on the forest nature trail where you can experiment with the spring water. Two different soils can be watered and the duration of the leakage can be compared. A wetland begins just below the source and extends to the flea ponds. The Scherbsgraben unfortunately runs underground for long stretches, but can then be seen again at the Scherbsgrabenbad, where it flows to the Rednitz.
