We were in the restaurant on October 16, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. The food was cold and by noon. Despite the warming counter, the food should be changed after 2 hours. It was sunken and hard (cauliflower and fried potatoes).

I OFTEN WAS IN THE LUNCH BREAK AT THE KARSTADT RESTAURANT ESSEN. THERE'S SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE. LARGE SELECTION OF FOOD. I've always been very satisfied.

We have been to this place regularly because it is comfortable for families with young children. The food is ok, nothing special. But the boss is extremely rude with an apparent lack of social skills. She thinks about selling another coffee, but not about being family-friendly and welcoming. With a closed kitchen, she didn't want us to feed our hungry baby here because we couldn't order anything !! When you go there, be prepared for such anti-social, unacceptable and arrogant behavior.
