The Mater Dolorosa Chapel was built in 1851 by a pastor from the neighboring parish of Arzheim for the "consolation of the poor souls".

Very nice place with a great 360 degree view of vineyards and villages. Blackthorn and many rose hips grow all around. Both edible🙂 You couldn't go to the chapel.

Great viewpoint in the southern Palatinate, with a very special atmosphere. The way up is definitely worth it!
