In 1993, the company I worked for rented office space on the upper floor of Kunigundruh Schutzenhaus, and we would have lunch at the gasthaus nearly every day. The food was SUPERIOR and the prices were very reasonable. I have often thought about Uschi (sp?) that worked there in the restaurant. She was such a kind soul - though she spoke no English and my German was primitive at best, we still became friends. Do yourself a favor - if you're in Bamberg, stop by Kunigundenruh for a meal. Great food, great atmosphere and great folks who work there.
