camping island Bamberg

It's our first day here and we really like it actually. Space is good, they are very well organized. Plus bathrooms and shower rooms are modern and clean. Food is good and authentic. Extra thing, wifi is included in the overnight price. We'll definitely go back if we come this way again. It took us 20 min to get to the gorgeous picturesque city center by bike.

I was not able to book a spot, due the last minute and short duration of my request. The staff was extremely helpful in assisting me locate another campsite. Very responsive on their facebook site. If this customer service is an indication of the quality of the establishment, i look forward to another opportunity to stay at this location! Highly recommend.

Once again fabulous. Decent food to reasonable prices, a good camping space and friendly efficient staff. Also fantastic are the showers and toilets, which are clean and not charged extra, as so many other camping places do. Location is great for visits to Bamberg city and it is situated directly at the river Regnitz

Wow this was the most amazing campsite for shower and sanitary facilities. Luxurious cubicles with a basin and enclosed shower with individual basins outside. Very very swish and plenty of them! Had a nice pitch overlooking the river- 27 Euros for 2 with a MB camper van. There’s a bus stop right outside which runs hourly into town. We ate at the restaurant which was reasonably priced and there’s also a shop selling the basics. An excellent spot to visit the beautiful town of Bamberg.
