We have been visiting your Letsplay play center branch in Koblenz-Metternich for almost six years.
It's not the first time that I've been annoyed by the on-site service. I really appreciate your offer for us guests, however
an optimized implementation of the processes would have to be examined. For example, I experience excellent service at the "play stations", where the employees (m / f / d) have been on their own for about a year. Nevertheless, they are always friendly and regularly ask for drinks. Unfortunately, I cannot say this about the employees in Koblenz.
I would like to report to you that the employees who are on duty there in pairs often sit for 30-120 minutes at the counter, play on their mobile phones, make private calls and smoke up to 10 cigarettes. Personally, I was there several times with my partner and unfortunately experienced that we were not asked for drinks despite ringing the bell 3-4 times.
There was obviously a two hour break. Even in these situations, which were regularly repeated, we were happy to pick up drinks at the counter after we had ordered them there.
I am currently describing the following situation to you, on which I base my perception of discrimination.
On June 9th, 2020 at around 4:30 p.m. we visited your branch again accompanied by a friend. Employee "Sandra" was on late shift. She didn't say hello to either of us, but our acquaintance was very nice. When we asked whether my partner and I could sign up on a "slip of paper", she replied "no!". We questioned this because we should do it that way when visiting beforehand, as the state regulation RLP does not require otherwise. She then said, "Yes, OK". After all, we live together in our own property.
My acquaintance and I sat next to each other (without a mobile partition or glass pane) and started playing on the devices. We got our drinks at the machines. Until then, no one said that we were not allowed to sit next to each other (I didn't know at the time either, no explanation). Upon entering, I saw mobile partition walls that were not used. There were currently 6-7 guests included with us in Casino 2. "Sandra" entered Casino 2 to bring drinks to other guests, then she asked us for drinks, we declined with thanks. I then changed the device and sat down next to my partner. "Sandra" entered the casino again and reprimanded my partner (who sat there from the start): "Please deal immediately! I am not arguing! Otherwise leave the arcade and go somewhere else!". I was shocked by this action.
Personally, I felt absolutely devalued and discriminated against. I consider training on the AGG to be sensible. I became more decisive and told her to stop and I find it absolutely childish, unprofessional and insulting. She continued to grin and shouted even louder: "Tschööööööö bye bye, I don't care!".
Now I think it is very likely that she acted willfully racist and discriminatory.
But then I asked why the team leader (short blonde hair and glasses) hugged guests one day later and patted drinks on the shoulder when they ordered drinks and said things like: "Well, honey here too, would you like a drink?" This is objectively and factually negligent and does not comply with the statutory state ordinance of Rhineland-Palatinate. Why should employees follow the behavior of the team leader?
Today, June 14th, 2020 the three of us wanted to visit the arcade again. Team leader and employee "Sandra" were on duty. The team leader pronounced an oral ban. We described our version, but she nodded continuously, saying "yes, yes, yes ..." Sandra grinned during this. For the first time our acquaintance commented on it and said ":
I didn't like it at all. Disgusting smell. No fresh oxygen and the operation is rude.
