I don't know

After the baroque predecessor church was completely destroyed except for the crypt in the Second World War, the new Holy Cross Church was built in 1962-64 according to plans by the Koblenz architect Martin Ufer as an octagonal reinforced concrete structure with a slate folding roof. The windows are by Prof. Johannes Schreiter, the organ is a Klais organ. The church has been profaned since 2017. The building is rightly a listed building. We wish the decision-makers good sense and luck to find a worthy solution for the future of this modern church. Unfortunately, despite my request, I have not yet been able to visit the inside of the church.

The Holy Cross Church in Koblenz-Ehrenbreitstein The Holy Cross Church is a Catholic church in Koblenz. The former parish church in the district of Ehrenbreitstein was built in 1962-1964 instead of an earlier 18th century building. The neighboring Heribert tower has served the church as a bell tower since 1848. The church is dedicated to the Holy Cross, on which Jesus died. On November 26, 2017, the church was desecrated by Auxiliary Bishop Jörg Michael Peters, after no ordinary services had been held for about seven years. The municipality would like to see in the future the cultural use of the building; There are also conversations with an Orthodox community looking for a new place of worship
