The church was built in 1723-1725 as a hall without a tower, presumably according to plans by the court architect von Ravensteyn. The Koblenz architects Huch and Grefges added a new neo-baroque building with a church tower in 1913-1915. The stained glass windows come from Reinhard Hess from Trier and were installed in 1953-1960. The severe damage caused by the floods in 1993 can still be seen today.

Beautiful cherry unfortunately the plaster bursts from all the walls and she urgently needed a refurbishment.
