Kunstwerk Carlshütte

This is undoubtedly one of the best exhibition spaces I've ever had the pleasure to visit. Set on the grounds of a huge old industrial halls and picturesque parklands, this place caters predominantly to exhibiting sculpture. Don't get me wrong, the are plenty of paintings BUT to be in a space where sculpture is given the space - and we talking large, industrial hall filling works - is a rare pleasure indeed. There is so much to see you will need to take a whilw day or at least 3 hours not to cut yourself short in experiencing this place. And when you need a break, there's a fabulous restaurant/cate that serves lovely food at a good price, too. All round WIN!
