Absolutely terrific for what it is. Which is a down home cooking place with huge (American sized) portions. Sit and watch the canal ships and trains on the bridge while you have a beer, cafe & kuchen or full meal.

Great place if you are into boat and train spotting - also great Germany food

Stunning location next to the Kiel canal and under the high bridge. You can watch ocean going shipping go past and hear the trains rumble across the bridge. Food and beer were great too.

Very good food, good service, nice view of the water with the ships coming in.
