Parkplatz Remscheid Hbf

Unfortunately nothing is left of the Remscheid main train station. Now there is only one stop on the S7 between Wuppertal Hbf and Solingen Hbf. Direct access to the platform is via a footbridge from Willy-Brand-Platz / Bahnhofsplatz to Kaufland. The stairs leading to the platform are on this bridge. If you're lucky, the elevator works. The train station used to be a beautiful old building with a ticket office and later also with machines. There was a restaurant, a press shop (in new German) with drinks and sweets, a flower shop and the taxi office. Only tracks remain of the charm of the old train station.
