In the week before Easter we visited Bamberg. What a very nice city with a friendly population (and many breweries). One of the highlights of our stay was the city tour with Miss Dr. Elisabeth Skantze. That was from the beginning (start at brewery Fassla) to the end (the cathedral) An instructive and very interesting guide. The tour was interrupted by a delicious lunch in the Restaurant tiled stove with crust roast, Kloss and sauerkraut. At a Schlenkerla smoked beer, I did not dare. Mrs. Dr Skantze knows captivating stories in a few hours Telling from the past to today's Bamberg. She talked so entertaining and exciting that there was no moment boredom Gave. In short: it is highly recommended! On a next visit Will we ask you to guide us through the Cathedral of Bamberg.
