My favorite bar! The extremely pleasant atmosphere and the cocktails are very quality and authentic, the service is always very friendly, it's easy to see me there! Melhor lugar fora do Brasil que tomei uma boa Cachaça !

Super friendly owner, who loves his job and convinces with specialist knowledge! He always has a suitable recommendation ready. Many cocktail ingredients are homemade. Super nice atmosphere with nice conversations. And the cocktails are just fantastic, an absolute taste experience and definitely worth the price! I can only recommend the Lantern Bar to anyone who likes high quality cocktails.

I was there on Saturday with a group of 6 because Friedrich Ebert Strasse was blocked off. Then asked in a bar where one could still go. The Lantern Bar was recommended to us. We then accepted the taxi offer and drove to the Lantern Bar. Were greeted very friendly. The owner then pointed out to us that the blue hour is currently with numerous offers. Very friendly and attentive. We were then assigned a seat on the upper floor and two tables were put together. As a welcome there was a Pineapple rum liqueur. Delicious! The drinks were very, very good, they drank Mai Tai, Zombie, Real McCoy Rumrunner, Pear Mojito, and various specials that were not on the menu. For me and my friends it was a great way to end the evening and the beginning of a new friendship. I cannot agree with the evaluation of Mausch drake and Fx L. The bar is very nice and the owner is one of the best and most attentive hosts here in Kassel, as the other reviews we have read before show.

The room consists of two floors, downstairs is a bar, up the stairs is the only other room with a table and chairs. Comfortably furnished, the lanterns undoubtedly create a pleasant atmosphere. However, the premises are more than manageable. And the big drawback: The supposed owner of the bar discriminated against us by only wanting to serve us when we were consuming drinks from the corresponding price segment. In the case of student guests, this would mostly not be the case, so he would not be able to offer us hospitality. We then ordered cocktails, which we found by mutual agreement to definitely not justify the high price in terms of quality. When paying, the owner was asked about his behavior with an explicit reference to the type of communication. Instead of an apology, there was a justification: the sharp tone must continue to be chosen so that the corresponding loss of sales is not too great. I have seldom experienced such arrogance and inability to criticize. Do lost sales justify discrimination and communication? I do not think so. Once and never again.

One word is enough to describe this beautiful evening: Perfect! Everything was just right. The service was very attentive but not intrusive and it was time for some nice words outside of the drink receptions. The Gcocktails were more than perfect. The quality is impeccable. The advice on the drinks up to the explanation of the spirits was absolutely competent. We felt very comfortable and welcome and will definitely be back. Thank you for the lovely evening.
